Responsibility / Duty
* Teaching clinical and/or didactic courses, across undergraduate and graduate programs as appropriate.\ * Maintaining professional and academic expertise, and knowledge of applicable curricular guidelines and curricular evaluation standards\ * Providing clinical and simulation/technologies laboratory teaching/supervision in acute and community health care as appropriate for nursing students\ * Utilizing research and literature findings to integrate best practices into the laboratory instruction and simulation to assist faculty in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating simulation activities and initiatives\ * Participating in student recruiting, admission/progression process, and advising\ * Teaching in both online and face-to-face delivery methods, as appropriate\ * Participate in community outreach programs to include conducting tours of the facilities, recruiting students, participating in public relations activities\ * Participating in overall curriculum development and evaluation\ * Promoting an interprofessional teaching/learning environment\ \

Summary of Responsibilities
TheWSUSchool of Nursing is accepting applications for an Assistant Clinical Educator to provide instruction of didactic, clinical and/or technologies labs, and teaching/supervision in high-acuity/critical care nursing (other clinical areas as appropriate) for undergraduate students. This position will also participate in curriculum development and evaluation and will be expected to maintain academic and professional expertise.
Minimum Education
Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program by hire date
Minimum Experience
Recent experience as a clinician in a health care system
