Applicants whose technical interests complement and augment the Departments existing strengths and are well positioned to develop collaborations as part of multidisciplinary research teams are of particular interest. Our hiring priority is focused on applied research in the areas of aircraft design, applied and computational aerodynamics, flight mechanics, flight controls and astronautics.
Responsibilities:
1. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
2. Advising undergraduate students, supervising MS and PhD students in their theses and dissertations.
3. Obtaining research funding, conducting an active research program, publishing the results of the research.
4. Actively participating in professional societies, and service to the department, college, and university.
