Summary of Responsibilities: This position will have experience/potential teaching relevant subjects at the undergraduate and/or graduate level course work and/or relevant experience in a health care setting. Faculty in tenure teaching positions teach four courses per academic year (two per semester; undergraduate and/or graduate), with their time allocated to teaching (40%), research (40%) and service activities (20%). While content areas are open, expertise in healthcare finance is highly preferred. The candidate will be expected to develop a research agenda that will lead to applications for external funding. Research will be conducted in topics related to health care. Regular peer-reviewed publications and presentations are expected. Additional duties include working collaboratively with other faculty in teaching, research, service, advising/mentoring, curriculum development, program assessment and accreditation; participating as an active liaison with prospective students, local/ state/national health care communities and accrediting officials; fostering positive networks/relationships with the local health care community; regularly attending and participating in faculty meetings and retreats; and acting as a representative ofPHSat activities as needed. This 9-month appointment starts August 2023.

Position Description Information:
Reqular Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, with hours dependent on the classes assigned, most will be in the afternoons and evenings. Some weekends to attend graduation and other university events
Environmental Factors: Typical online and in-person classroom environments.
Proposed Job Duties:
