PDS Tech Commercial in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a skilled Technician, Aviation Maintenance Flight Test to play a vital role in the maintenance and testing of experimental aircraft. With a focus on cutting-edge aviation technology. Expect the possibility of shift work and flexible hours to accommodate dynamic flight schedules. Estimated Mandate Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and inspect experimental aircraft systems, including engines, landing gear, and flight control surfaces.
Collaborate with production teams to assemble and modify first aircraft and experimental equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust aircraft components to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Support engineering teams with functional testing, revisions to procedures, and troubleshooting.
Assist with aircraft set-up for flight tests and conduct critical static, fatigue, and pressure tests.
Perform basic aircraft handling tasks and support ground equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
Required:
1+ year of experience with aircraft mechanical systems and sheet metal.
Solid knowledge of aircraft safety and operating procedures.
Proven ability to maintain and troubleshoot flying aircraft systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality maintenance practices.
Preferred:
An A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) License.
Experience with experimental aircraft and functional testing.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $34.00 to $40.00 per hour
