About the Program
The Equity Bank Management Program is designed to assist graduates in making a seamless transition from college to career. The program offers selected individuals an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge through job rotational tracks. Each track combines on-the-job training with skill development through practical work to provide a solid foundation in banking. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be placed in full-time positions that match their skillsets and career interests, while meeting the employment needs of the bank.
Participants will have the opportunity to launch their banking careers through an accelerated job training program. They will receive practical, tailored knowledge of the banking industry with real-world application leading to a management role in our bank and an understanding on how to deliver our brand.
The 20-month job training program consists of a blended learning methodology to include:
- Classroom instruction
- Virtual instruction
- Hands on training in the Retail, Credit and Support Departments
- Mentoring
- Opportunities to interact with Senior Leaders and Executive Management
Program Qualifications
When selecting candidates for our program, Equity Bank is looking for future leaders of our company. These individuals are high-performing college graduates who enjoy a challenging work environment and have shown a trajectory for success through education and extracurricular activities. Candidates are hardworking, motivated individuals with superior customer service skills and must possess:
- A four-year business related degree
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
