As a BIOFUELS SCHEDULER, you will work directly with our ethanol Marketing, Logistics & Trade Fulfillment teams. Your primary responsibility will be to work with your regional team to deliver product on time, on spec, and with minimal “hassle” to the end user. Additional responsibilities will vary by specialty but may include: development of external relationships, securing freight capacity, negotiating freight rates, ensuring proper execution of all regional trades, position balancing and exploring opportunities to optimize shipments.


  • Inventory management / balancing

  • Monitoring of daily in-transit volume and following up with customers or carriers when necessary

  • Monitoring forward inventory projections and working with the team to rebalance as-needed

  • Trouble-shooting inventory, demand, and/or carrier issues

  • Research missing loads

  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure transactions match intended trade strategy


  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

  • You know the basics of Microsoft’s Office Suite and are capable of learning new programs.

  • You are patient, you like helping people and do not mind researching problems.

  • You are comfortable communicating with people of varying backgrounds and developing relationships.

  • You have solid problem solving skills.

  • You adapt well to changes.

  • You are comfortable being on-call. You are available outside of typical working hours to address system issues / assist with changes.

  • You understand basic financial and economic concepts.

  • You communicate effectively. You write well and speak articulately. You are comfortable communicating both in writing and over the phone.

  • You pay attention to the details but also see the “big picture.” For you, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every time.

  • You are a learner, not afraid of taking on new things and stretching yourself. You are not afraid to ask questions, as you’re always looking to improve and help others.
