THE POSITION
As aChief Inspector/Supervisor, you will lead all manufacturing inspection activities as we serve the best customers from all over the world from general, business, and commercial aviation. Youll ensure that the inspection standards, methods, and procedures are maintained and meet approval by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Part 21 Manufacturing Facility. To be successful in this role, youll need to have familiarity with all regulatory and industry requirements related to Aerospace Quality Standards. Youll be an important part of the process that keeps our customers flying!
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a minimum 8 years working in avionics and parts manufacturing inspection having experience with engineering drawings, applicable inspection methods, techniques, equipment, and tools used to determine the compliance of new articles.
- You have a minimum 4 years of direct supervision experience, with responsibility for receiving inspection, assembly, final inspection and delivery of aviation products or articles.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
