Position Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations within the clinical, surgery scheduling, and radiology departments, providing direction and oversight of direct and indirect patient care in these areas and ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Directly supervise, evaluate, and train staff in assigned areas of responsibility, including medical assistants, surgery schedulers, and radiology techs.
• Assist with clinical tasks and fill in as needed to ensure adequate coverage for the clinical team.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by ensuring any complaints are addressed and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state healthcare regulations regarding OSHA, risk management, and KOC liability claims processing; provide staff safety training.
• Provide support and assistance to the electronic medical record function, including creating, updating and modifying templates, dictionaries and ordering functions.
• Perform administrative functions such as planning, organizing, prioritizing, budgeting, decision making, and communicating appropriately within all levels of the company.
• Promote a cooperative team effort, share knowledge and ideas, encourage others to provide input, and establish and maintain a productive working relationship with all employees. Works as a team member with other managers to improve operations and identify both problems and solutions.
• Maintains, updates and shares knowledge in areas of responsibility; maintains educational requirements for nursing credentials.
• Personally adhere to the standards, rules, and procedures of the KOC Compliance and HIPAA Programs and ensure department responsibilities are met in support of the organizational commitment to compliance and HIPAA regulations.
