Our CareGivers work in a residential home that provides specialized memory and Alzheimer\'s care. As a CareGiver with Comfort Care Homes you\'ll do more than just pass meds and attend to ADL\'s. You\'ll enhance the Residents lives by creating moments of joy throughout the day. Whether you are helping a resident bake cookies, play trivia, fold laundry, sweep the patio, or reconnect with their love of art, you are connecting with each resident and creating moments of joy. With a patient ratio, of approximately, 1 CareGiver to 5-7 Residents you\'ll have the time to truly engage and interact with your Residents. At Comfort Care Homes our CareGivers have time for the thing they love most - making connections with their Residents!
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Required
- Proficient in basic life support and patient care techniques
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation, and HIPAA regulations
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, Home Plus or hospital settings
- Ability to provide care for residents with Dementia including Alzheimer\'s disease
