Immediate opportunities are available for talentedCoil Machine Setup Operatorwho want to become part of the Johnson Controls team. Coil Machine Setup Operators set up any of the following equipment: fin press,expanderand hairpin tubing press.Theyareresponsible forsetting up,operating, andmaintainingcoil processing machinery to ensure efficient andaccurateproduction of coil-based products. This role involves ensuring machines are properly calibrated, troubleshooting issues,monitoringproduction, and ensuring product quality standards are met. The operator must follow safety guidelines, perform routine maintenance, andmaintainrecords of machine settings and production output.
WhatYoullDo:
Read,communicateand understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions, handles material to and from workstation and getsworkstationand equipment ready for production.
Sets up andoperatesthe fin press, expanderpress, hairpin tubing press.
Determinesthe need fortooland die care.
Performs necessary maintenance,maintainsquality standards, reports material shortages, keeps workstation in order.
Performs first and last part inspections of partsagainst OMS and/or specification.
