Fidelity Bank Consumer Loan Underwriter in Wichita, Kansas

Description

Job Overview: The candidate for this position will assist in organizing consumer loan packages for internal underwriting, while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing credit reports, approving or denying loan applications, and marketing additional Fidelity Bank products and services to our customers.

  • Daily interaction with internal customers to convey credit decisions, review necessary documentation and arrange loan closings while making sound credit decisions.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent).

  • Two years of lending experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent public relation skills.

  • The ability to work late and/or flexible hours.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Lending experience with an emphasis in consumer real estate.
