Aerotek Continuous Improvement Manager in Wichita, Kansas

Description:

Aerotek is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager at one of it's top clients in Wichita. We are looking for candidates with manufacturing experience that can lead continuous improvement projects while working with operations team members, quality, and engineering teams. Will also work cross functionally with other plants to implement cost savings events for process flow throughout the facility.

Position details: This position will oversee a group of about 8-10 people all around process improvements, continuous improvement, kaizen events, operational excellence, etc. This position will involve workstation re-organization, developing time studies, CI on equipment capabilities, must be a major influencer of team members, supporting functions of operations, quality, design and mfg. engineering departments. Someone who is a great leader and understands how to effectively drive change for process efficiencies and implement change as needed for plant operations.

  • 7+ years of management experience in manufacturing preferred

  • 5-7 years of CI or process improvement experience in manufacturing

  • 4 year college degree in business administration is preferred
