Job Overview: The main purpose of this job is to serve as a business and systems liaison/consultant with internal business units and vendors to develop and implement technical solutions to business needs. Core Banking Applications include the following:
Core customer and account data system Core data reporting system Cold reports and document storage system Core document rendering and mailing systemThe candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Developing a detailed understanding of the Core Banking Applications* and how they interact with all other Fidelity Bank systems while ensuring that we are utilizing systems to their full potential and the way in which they were designed or intended to be used.
Supporting moderately complex functionality within the Core Banking Applications with limited impact to external systems.
Providing support, consultation, and recommendations to business units in solving technical challenges that require the Core Banking Applications.
Assessing changes to current workflow structures and determining the impact of these changes.
Identifying and communicating issues during testing and driving resolutions.
Consulting with business units to assist in the creation or update of business procedures for business practices that utilize the Core Banking Applications.
Training employees on Core Banking Application(s) functionality and new/updated work processes.
Actively working to take on new and more challenging tasks and projects for personal and department growth.
Proactively seeking training available from vendors to support a higher level of knowledge, understanding, and exploring opportunities to gain efficiencies for the bank.
Requirements for the position include:
A high school diploma
Ability to work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications Include:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1-3 years of operations or systems experience
