SUMMARY OF JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day Cost Accounting functions,
including but not limited to:
- Daily production entry review, analysis, and reconciliation
(which includes investigating variances)
- Includes managing in-tran locations and shipments to other plants and warehouses
- Daily review of costing and inventory exception reports
- Includes working with team members and applications to maintain accurate inventories
- General Ledger
- Includes reporting and explaining product losses
- Inventory balancing/reconciliation, including period close
- Creating journal entries as needed
- Creating and distributing Accounting reports as necessary. i.e. yield reporting, product write-offs, etc.
- Daily production entry review, analysis, and reconciliation
(which includes investigating variances)
- Responsible for AP tasks that include researching and approving invoices as they relate to receipts of raw materials, packages, ingredients, along with other recurring/annual type services
