SCOPE

The focus of this position is to perform tasks in preparation, production, and service of good and beverages to customers, as well a maintaining the restaurant, kitchen and restrooms in a safe and clean condition.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure the 100% satisfaction of every customer.

Works assigned positions in accordance with all standards and procedures prescribed by the \"Operations Manual\" or codes. Learns the duties of each position assigned, and maintains the pace set by the business and management.

Ensures compliance and implementation of all franchise and corporate standards.

Adheres to franchise and corporate cash procedures and is responsible for cash when assigned to a register. Remains cost conscious of inventory and equipment at all times.

Arrives to work on time (according to handbook policy), is in uniform, has a positive/friendly attitude, and exhibits good personal hygiene.

Follows orders/directions of the management staff and cooperates in a team effort to complete assigned tasks. Takes the initiative when sees that something needs done.

Is able to communicate well with customers (i.e.: handle customer complaints) and team members and presents a polite and positive attitude towards the guests and his team members.

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment at all times.

Assess health code requirements and ensure compliance in all areas. Ensure that restaurant is maintained in a cleanly manner at all times.

Assist in various functions and roles as directed by their management. Completes tasks assigned that may not be detailed in this job description.

PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE ACTIVITIES

This description of physical and mental activities is intended to describe essential job functions. The major responsibility in this position is to assist in all aspects of the restaurant operations; therefore a significant portion of the time is spent walking, standing, speaking, listening, carrying/lifting and handling food and kitchen utensils.

Communications skills are utilized a significant amount of the time when interacting with customers and fellow team members.

The average day can involve approximately 40% standing, 40% walking and 20% kneeling/squatting/bending. These may be done on concrete floor with carpet or tile covering. An employee may remain on their feet the entire shift. Pushing and pulling of carts with food and supplies is required with weight in excess of 50 lbs.

Food and beverage items will be prepared, lifted, carried, and served or stored. These items and foods may consist of cases of food products or trays of food products. These may range from 2 lbs. to 40 lbs. Lifting is approximately 15% of the job requirement.

During preparation, serving or storage of food and beverages repetitive bending, squatting or kneeling is encountered as well as during clean up of the kitchen/dining area and equipment such as microwaves, freezers, soda machines, ovens, ice machines, shake machines, and the broilers. Constant reaching and repetitive use of hands and arms is required in preparing and serving of food. (This may comprise of 50% or more of the job)

Mathematical skills, including basic math are used often when handling money. Some duties may require repetitive use of computer key boards and register sc eens. The use of these, may comprise up to 50% of the job. The safety and confidentiality of customer credit card and personal data information is a required essential function of the position.

Being present for scheduled work is an essential function of the job.

Time of shifts may vary depending on business needs and will be determined by the Company.

This is a predominantly indoor position involving flexible hours each day ranging from 4 1/2 to 9 hours each day, up to 29
