As a Technical Systems Administrator, you will act as the primary technical interface with SNC Business Area Process subject matter experts (SMEs), SNC IT and vendors to ensure that clear communication and timely resolution of open issues and bugs is implemented. You will be the SME for Product Development platform infrastructure support for suites within CAD, PLM, MBSE, etc. You will influence and participate as an active Change Board Approver for the maintenance of Product Development Engineering tools in all capacities that include, but are not limited to: configuring, installing new hardware/software, performing upgrades to existing servers & software, coordinating the introduction of additional servers and storage to the network, following security policies and procedures, and performing other technical duties as needed.

This role is open to a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the maintenance of servers in all capacities that include, but not limited to: configuring, installing new hardware/software, performing upgrades to existing servers & software, coordinating the introduction of additional servers and storage to the network, following security policies and procedures, and performing other technical duties as needed
• Maintain servers and storage for business area business applications
• Provide platform infrastructure support
• Provide general business application support
• Maintain detailed inventory of Business Area automation
• Maintain documentation of network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and other third party software installed
• Maintain server and related hardware
• Responsible for backup systems process and procedures
• Document repair/maintenance and change requests through IS department ticketing system
• Perform on call after hours support as part of the rotation

Must-haves:

• Requires a BA/BS in Related Field (years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• 8-12 years of experience as a Dassault 3DExperience (3DX) system administrator.
• Experience with 3DX system analysis and troubleshooting to ensure day to day performance.
• Experience with Dassault Suite of tools (CATIA V6 - mechanical & electrical)
• Ideally, successful candidate will will have a blend of IT AND mechanical or electrical engineering experience.
• Understanding of how this application and infrastructure work in tandem.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and basic network routing protocol
• Excellent written and oral communication ability
• Ability to interface with every level of the organization
• Critical thinker that challenges the status quo and easy answers

Preferred:

• 3DExperience Implementation Badges
• Pro-actively monitors the infrastructure including servers to prevent issues and to resolve issues as they happen
• Experience in developing applications in iOS, Microsoft, Linux Javascript, angular.js, webRTC preferred.
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wired/wireless networks and related equipment
• Participate in testing of new software and hardware
• Experience with setting up build-machines and software development support
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Build prot type systems for demo and testing
