Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS
Key Accountabilities:
Leads and directs quality organizations or provides cross-functional quality integration leadership
Establishes, oversees, and administers processes, policies, and best practices, and determines resource requirements, acquisition, improvement plans and quality measures
Interfaces with other organizations, external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project and program priorities through all phases in the product or service lifecycle
Provides organizational vision and strategic plan, quality policies, processes, and procedures, as well as process improvements and prevention measures
Communicates, educates, trains and coaches’ internal personnel, customers, and suppliers regarding Quality policies, processes, and procedures
Provides cross-functional leadership and Quality technical expertise
Qualifications
Requirements:
This role requires US Citizenship.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Preference will be given to those with active clearance .
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a Quality or Leadership role in a manufacturing environment
At least 2 years’ customer relationship management experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required in a technical or business discipline
Experience with MS Office Suite
Experience managing a budget
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using SAP
Experience in the Aerospace Industry
Experience in Composite Fabrication
Experience in a management role
Experience establishing Quality Management Systems and/or AS9100 auditing
Working familiarity of First Article Inspections (FAI)
Six Sigma Green Belt and ASQ Certification
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and team-based environment
Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention-to-detail
Strong ability to lead and inspire leadership with an ability to influence outside of the organization
Self-motivated; ability to take ownership of projects and issues, including the ability to follow-through to closure and resolution
