Responsibilities and Expectations

  1. Deposit Services Team Tasks
    • Account Verification
    • Verify all new consumer and business accounts for correct coding, entity documentation and CIP compliance
    • Create and maintain exceptions
    • Account Maintenance
    • Perform all account maintenance requests from bank locations
    • IRA Processing
  • Process IRA Contributions, Distributions, Transfers and Beneficiary Payouts
  • Tax Corrections
  1. Reports
    • Review and assist on various daily Reports

  • Assist Bank associates and customers with back-office related questions and issues by phone
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate with others in order to achieve shared goals
  • Participate in all required Training
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve problems independently
  • Utilize time management skills with ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Manage multiple responsibilities adhering to strict deadlines
  • Manage heavy call volumes from other departments
  • Conduct internal reviews on consumer and business deposit accounts for correct coding, documentation, and compliance.
  • Document exceptions and work with bank locations on clearing exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Perform all account maintenance requests from our bank locations and other departments.
  • Provide support to bank locations with deposit account related questions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Responsible for following all aspects of Bank Policys including but not limited to, Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, and Bank Secrecy Act, and completing all required Compliance Course work.

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Minimum of six months experience in banking or finance related industry
  3. Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
  4. Strong organization skills and great attention to detail
  5. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  6. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  7. IRA knowledge preferred
  8. 10-key machine and typing skills required
