The Director of Training and Education at Legend Senior Living plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of care, service, and professionalism across all departments in every Legend residence. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive onboarding and annual training and educational programs that empower team members to excel in their roles and provide exceptional experiences to residents.

This position will have many opportunities to travel to an assigned region for training and educational purposes.

Some of the duties of this position are listed below.

  • Design and develop training programs that align with the company\'s values, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Create training curricula that cover essential skills, Legend-specific standards, resident care protocols, customer service, leadership development, and compliance with regulations
  • Develop training materials, presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other resources that engage learners and facilitate effective knowledge transfer
  • Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for associates at all levels, ensuring that training methods cater to diverse learning styles and preferences
  • Design and implement leadership development programs to nurture and grow the skills of managers and supervisors, fostering effective team leadership and employee engagement
  • Develop mechanisms to assess training effectiveness, including knowledge retention and practical application. Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure that training programs remain in alignment with changing requirements
  • Work closely with operational teams, HR, and other stakeholders to understand specific training needs, address challenges, and develop solutions that contribute to a positive work environment
  • Utilize data and metrics to measure the impact of training programs on employee performance, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence
