WSP USA Early Career Civil Engineer in Wichita, Kansas
This Opportunity
WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team across various offices within the Midwest. This is an opportunity to join a firm designing some of the most complex and impactful transportation projects across the region. Our team focuses on delivering projects for our clients while mentoring and developing team members to prepare for them for future opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist and support design teams in the execution of projects
• Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications
• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design
• Maintain positive team relationships
• Assist and coordinate with key staff across disciplines (i.e. drainage, structures, traffic) as required

Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited university
• 0-1 years of experience in the civil engineering field
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Engineer Intern (EI) Certificate
• Hands-on experience in OpenRoads Designer
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
