Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The EHS Manager will have responsibility for all activities about Safety, Health, and the environment. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a company-wide safety and environmental compliance culture.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Chairperson for company safety committee
• Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees\' exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards.
• Act as a liaison between RD Henry& Company and outside safety/environmental consultants.
• Conduct employee safety training classes
• Promote a culture of safety first, throughout all levels of the employee population
• Manage safety training programs to ensure that the company meets all safety training regulations
• Manage worker\'s compensation program to manage the claims process and reduce the number of accidents
• Work proactively to ensure the company complies with all regulatory agencies.
• Manage an employee wellness program
