What you will do

Analyze Engineering Changes in SAP to determine necessary creation and modifications of online Work Instructions (Operational Methods Sheets) for the Production lines. Actively participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change (EC) processes. Actively engage in cross functional communication and meetings to ensure timely and accurate Engineering Change and Work Instruction implementations.

How you will do it

  • Provide step-by-step online Work Instructions (Operational Method Sheets) for production assembly personnel.

  • Create and maintain Engineering information in a Sequel Server Database through an Access front-end. Information includes Graphics, Work Instructions, Bills of Materials, Critical Characteristics, and Verifications. Graphics are derived from Creo Parametric 3D models (Creo6), photos or videos.

  • Update Sequence of Events (SOE) for the production assembly processes with input from functional groups such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Quality.

  • Obtain and analyze Product and SAP information to verify completeness and accuracy of Work Instructions.

  • Participate in Engineering / Manufacturing Trials and first Production of assigned product lines.

  • Assist production line supervisors and production personnel with questions on Work Instructions and follow up on any necessary changes in the sequence of operations on the production lines.

  • Work under the direction of Engineering Services Manager or designees on special projects.

    What we look for Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Highly motivated, organized, confident and self-starter.

  • Experience and/or training in a HVAC related field is desired.

  • Strong working knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes.

  • Proficiency in Windows 10, including Email and Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Access.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SAP with Bills of Materials, Engineering Changes, Reports.

  • Experience with Graphical Illustration Software; CorelDraw, Illustrator, CreoView MCad, Creo Parametric, Paint Shop, Acrobat.

  • Experience with Blueprint/Engineering Drawing reading.
