Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and drive product development from conception to release. This role offers the opportunity for further career development into Director and VP positions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

  • Oversee product development projects from initial concept to final release.

  • Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and production to ensure successful product launches.

  • Work with customers and suppliers to develop solutions that meet their needs.

  • Conduct design reviews and ensure that products meet all required specifications.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to management.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve engineering practices and processes.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering management or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Experience with electromechanical products and systems.

  • Experience with product development processes and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in engineering management tools and software.

  • Experience with Inventor.

  • Experience in project management, proposals, and design release.

  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt to new industries.

  • High-level problem solver with a growth mindset.

Work Environment

The role involves working from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an engineering office setting.
