Job Title: Engineering Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and drive product development from conception to release. This role offers the opportunity for further career development into Director and VP positions.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
Oversee product development projects from initial concept to final release.
Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and production to ensure successful product launches.
Work with customers and suppliers to develop solutions that meet their needs.
Conduct design reviews and ensure that products meet all required specifications.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to management.
Continuously evaluate and improve engineering practices and processes.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with electromechanical products and systems.
Experience with product development processes and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in engineering management tools and software.
Experience with Inventor.
Experience in project management, proposals, and design release.
Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt to new industries.
High-level problem solver with a growth mindset.
Work Environment
The role involves working from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an engineering office setting.
