THE POSITION
As anEngineering Technician, you will assist engineers in the design and development of new avionics and related products. You will use discretion and judgment to assemble and rework prototypes, complete documentation as needed and support engineering. Youll be expected to interpret board level schematics, build, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair printed circuit boards, test fixtures and equipment to the surface mount and through-hole component level.\ \
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT
- Build prototype printed circuit board assemblies
- Rework and revise printed circuit boards as required
- Order required parts and components from external suppliers or internal parts storage
- Assist engineers in debug efforts of printed circuit boards and test equipment
- Build test equipment and cables to support product test and evaluation
- Maintain an organized lab space
- Work with multiple engineering disciplines collaboratively in a team environment
