Job Summary: The Financial Accounting Analyst is responsible for acting as a business partner to all Company department leaders and participating in forward looking aspects of financial planning and information for the Company. This includes preparing monthly reports and analysis for overhead expense and assisting with annual budgets, weekly analysis reports and month end reports. Also involved with Operations, inventory and special projects to assist the General Manager and Controller.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares monthly departmental financial reports with variance analysis.
- Meets monthly (at a minimum) with department leaders to discuss budget performance and upcoming costs.
- Participates in the annual budget after gathering input from Sales, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance. In addition, if there becomes a need for interim budgets such as a 6+6 the Financial Analyst will assist as needed for preparing this document.
- Prepares weekly analysis of Revenue progress and disseminates the findings.
- Runs month end and year-end reports and utilities.
- Reviews production variances weekly and works with Operations to understand and correct errors.
- Performs a variety of tasks to assist the General Manger and Controller in planning, reporting, and month-end processes.
- Works with dashboard reporting toolset.
