Wolters Kluwer Financial Planning Manager in Wichita, Kansas
*This role is a Hybrid position that will require 2 days in a Wolters Kluwer office location listed, with a preference for Riverwoods, IL office. The Riverwoods office is very close to Northbrook/Deerfield Il area *
As a Financial Planning Manager, you will report directly to the Financial Planning Director. The role will require collaborating with finance teams across Wolters Kluwer, as well as Business Unit, Division and Corporate leadership and various functional teams. You will work on various financial planning and analysis tasks, including month-end close, monthly management reporting, 3-year strategic plan, annual budget, forecasting, financial modeling, and other analysis as needed. You will also help identify and drive efficient processes for budgeting and forecasting of expenses, and operational reporting.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Assist with Month end, Budget and forecasting process for Corporate Performance & ESG
Review consolidated financials for accuracy and follow up on any deviations in trends
Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial analysis and reporting deliverables. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in alignment with corporate deadlines
Drive continuous process improvement and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the planning and reporting processes
Drive, in collaboration with leadership, ad hoc projects within the Corporate Performance & ESG
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or other related business field
8 or more years of experience in finance roles, including Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate
5 or more years of experience in a financial planning and analysis position
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate with different levels and functions, in a global environment
Strong background in financial analysis and problem-solving skills
Capacity to identify underlying principles, reasons or factors of information by breaking down into components; ability to uncover and explain the cause and effect of data disparities
Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), and planning reporting software such as Tagetik preferred but not required
