Where do you fit?

To be a successful Foster Care Recruitment Specialist you must be willing and able to do the following always:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain an annual Recruitment Plan. As part of recruitment planning, stay current on recruitment trends and strategies.
  2. Meet annual recruitment targets including leading in at least one targeted recruitment initiative per quarter.
  3. Promote EmberHope Youthville recruitment needs on social media platforms.
  4. Collaborate with Foster Care Workers to manage and follow up with perspective applicants in the licensing process.
  5. Maintain professional working relationships with all EmberHope Youthville staff, foster parents, stakeholders, and donors including attending quarterly community events geared towards recruitment efforts.
  6. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Companys Program Practice Guidelines.

How you will spend your time in this job:

  • 60% Recruitment
  • 30% Social Media Management
  • 10% Collaboration Training, Staff Meetings, & Continuing Education.

Requirements

To qualify for this job, you need to have:

  1. High school diploma, associates degree from an accredited college or university (preferred), or at least three years of direct experience in sales and marketing in lieu of education.
  2. Self-starter and experience with sales and social media.
  3. Experience with foster care recruiting, preferred.
  4. The ability to successfully manage external relationships and effectively liaise with colleagues of all levels.
  5. Flexibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiples projects concurrently.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
  8. Ability to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk upstairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
