Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This position requires working on your feet for 8 hours per shift in a labor-intensive environment that is not climate controlled. Candidates must have experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Assist on structured packing line, including layering product and pinning together with metal rods/hand-held tool.
Essential Skills
Ability to read standard/metric tape measure
Mechanically inclined
Commitment to safety and quality
6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
High School Diploma or GED required
No licenses or certifications required

Work Environment
This is a production/manufacturing facility with around 180 shop employees and 400 total employees, operating multiple shifts in a 24/7 operation. The environment is not climate controlled, meaning it can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The role often involves working outside in the elements, especially in the shipping yard/dock. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and provided PPE (ear plugs, safety goggles).

This is a Contract position based out of WICHITA, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
