Global Events Associate
* JOB SUMMARY: *
Reporting to the Manager, Global Events and Partnerships the Global Events Associate will assist and work with the Manager and leadership to coordinate and support details surrounding Textron Aviation’s presence at customer events to ensure the company is properly represented worldwide.
* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Capable of managing a full show schedule with little supervision and lead international shows independently.
Comfortable working closely with Textron Aviation leadership and global customer base.
Effective at communicating across multiple internal/external teams within all levels and disciplines of the organization.
Comfort engaging internal and external customers/vendors to address all logistics throughout the entirety of the event development and execution process.
Creates and implements pre/post event reports which include qualitative and quantitative data collected on-site including event follow up with Sales staff to determine strengths and opportunities for future events
Will plan, and travel (30-45%) to assist implementing events
* EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: *
Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related field.
Minimum 2 years of Tradeshow and Events or relative customer experience or marketing experience required
* QUALIFICATIONS: *
Understanding of the Business Aviation Trade Shows and/or Engagement area
Ability to work in a matrix environment. Ability to execute projects based on direction from multiple sources, while maintaining effective relationships.
Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well.
Customer focused role that will be responsible for developing relationships as well as maintaining administrative details.
Action oriented and seizes opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, along with being proficient Excel spreadsheets, Salesforce and willing to learn billing and budgeting process
