HR PAYROLL TEMP

The candidate for the position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of payroll, including data collection and input, processing bi-weekly payrolls for two companies using an outsourced HR payroll platform while maintaining an accurate system of records for wages, benefits, miscellaneous compensation and periodic reporting. The candidate will be expected to adhere to, and monitor, a strict system of internal controls to ensure accuracy and maintain effective working relationships between company departments.

Requirements for the position include a high school diploma (or equivalent). A minimum of three to five years payroll experience required, in addition to being fluent and knowledgeable of applicable local, state and federal payroll laws. The candidate must be familiar with accounting principles and practices. Experience with Ultimate Software (UKG) software preferred. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem solving skills. Proficient with Excel required.
