Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers who will be on their feet for the entire 8+ hour shifts. The day-to-day responsibilities will be consistent, and you will primarily use handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information needed for work orders and part numbers. Candidates who have at least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment are preferred and will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities
Operate handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information.
Push, pull, and lift at least 40lbs.
Stand on concrete for long periods.
Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Perform tasks such as shipping, receiving, general labor, sorting, picking/packing, and inventory control.
Match orders and kit parts as needed.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Ability to pass a math and matching numbers test with at least 70%.
Basic computer skills.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with shipping, receiving, and general labor.
Experience with RF Scanners and inventory control.

Work Environment
The warehouse is located onsite at Spirit Aerosystems and spans 400,000 sq. ft. You will need to wear jeans and have a pair of safety/composite toe shoes or boots, which can be purchased at Wal-Mart. The environment is not climate-controlled, so be prepared for varying temperatures. Work shifts are 8+ hours, with potential for night shifts, weekends, and overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
