Job Summary: Information Security Risk Program Manager plays a critical role in information security risk identification and management. This leadership position plays an integral role in the design and implementation of the bank’s information security program and requires working with many internal and external stakeholders. Reports to Executive\Senior Management and the Board of Directors on the status of the information security program as the Board-approved Information Security Officer. Responsible for promoting security awareness and collaborating on security issues across all departments within the bank. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s character qualities.

Essential Functions:

• All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Provide guidance on internal control design and elevate risks as appropriate.

• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and exercises conducted.

• Create and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines in accordance with current applicable laws, regulations, and best practices governing cyber security and data privacy.

• Communicate best practices to business units so they can better manage their own risks.

• Design, implement, and manage the bank’s incident response plan. Facilitate investigations after events and incidents including impact and root cause analysis and recommend risk mitigation efforts as appropriate to prevent future similar vulnerabilities.

• Maintain a current understanding of the technology threat landscape for the Financial Services Industry and translate that knowledge into actionable plans to protect the bank.

• Design, implement, and manage the performance of technology risk assessments and integrating assessments to appropriately reflect the bank’s technology risk environment.

• Collaborate with IT Management to determine and effectively manage the bank’s cyber security strategy.

• Advise, provide education, and report on the overall security strategy to Executive and Senior Management and to the Board of Directors at least annually.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement.

Education and Experience: Required bachelor’s degree or at least 15 years in related job experience in information technology, information technology management or IT Auditing. Preferred master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information security, or related field with at least 7-10 years of related job experience.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion to make balanced risk management decisions. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver oral and written report and presentations. Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate employees to work together as a team.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.

Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Some travel required.
