Foley Equipment Intern Technician - WSU Tech Fall 2023 in Wichita, Kansas

If you are looking for a rewarding diesel technician career, then the one-year Intern Technician certificate program through Foley Equipment and Wichita State University Tech (WSU Tech) could be the right choice for you! This program combines weekly classroom instruction with paid hands-on learning at a Foley location.
How it Works:
Each week for approximately 12 months, participants attend classes (in-person) at the WSU Tech campus in Wichita, Kansas two days per week (Mondays & Tuesdays). Participants then work at their local Foley location (paid) three days per week (Wednesdays through Fridays).
Do you live outside of the Wichita, KS and Park City, KS areas? You can still participate! Participants outside of Park City, KS and Wichita, KS are eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses incurred while traveling to and from their assigned classes on the WSU campus including mileage, lodging accommodations (1 night per week), and meals.
Plus, this role is eligible for health insurance benefits for all participants!
Job duties:
Gain hands-on shop experience while working with one of our experienced technician mentors!
Learn, retain, and apply classroom curriculum including a basic understanding of how systems work, procedures, processes, and safety
Excellent attendance and punctuality in the classroom and on the job during the internship
High school graduate or equivalent (Must be at least 18 years old at start of program)
Interns must be accepted and enrolled into the Foley Technician Certificate Program at WSU Tech before the start of the program
Seeking a career path as a technician with a secure future
