::: {field="overview"} We are seeking a Lead Test Engineer. In this role, you will perform complex vibration, engine development, and noise tests on component and complete Skidsteer and Compact Track loader. Testing will be performed in lab and in field applications to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existing construction products. :::
::: {field="responsibilities"} - Lead a team of test engineers to perform engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle - Train new hires to develop their skills with data acquisition, instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis - Collaborate with cross-functional team of project stakeholders to develop and define validation plans - Analyzes lab test and field test results and perform failure analyses. Coordinate activities in the field to gather data relevant to equipment operations - Prepares reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component dimension (size, strength, material, etc) and makes recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality - Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and manufacturing objectives for specific products - Supports design reviews, DFMEAs, and HARAs to develop new product design requirements :::
