Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to perform their own set-ups and runs on the machine, utilizing Fanuc Controls. A comprehensive understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential. This position requires someone who can start with minimal training and direction, as our environment is fast-paced and hands-on.
Responsibilities
Perform set-ups and runs on CNC Mill machines.
Utilize Fanuc Controls effectively on the machine.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Use height gauges, calipers, and micrometers proficiently.
Work with Haas, Kia, and Doosan brand machines.
Operate a cell of two machines efficiently.
Maintain own tools and equipment.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.
Proficiency in Fanuc Controls.
Ability to perform set-ups and runs independently.
Strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
Experience with 3 Axis-Kia's and Mill Turn lathe.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must provide own tools including 6” calipers, 0-1 inch mic, dial indicator, edge finder, wrenches, dead blow hammer, and Allen wrenches.
Experience with G Codes and M Codes is preferred.
Experience in Mill Turn is required.

We are a major supplier for prominent companies, offering stability and growth opportunities. The dress code includes jeans, T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. Work hours are from 7am-3:30pm, with the possibility of overtime and Saturday shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
