Education and or Experience: Trade school maintenance program or 2-year Associates degree. Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills preferred. Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC’s preferred. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions presented in English.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate with co-workers and management.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Ability to get a forklift license.

  • HVAC Certificate preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
