We are building out our communications team at a time when there is plenty of white space—we will rely on you for your creativity and expertise. This is a collaborative role and you’ll be the glue that connects multiple stakeholders. As our Manager, Donor Communications, you’ll advocate for and hold our brand to the highest of standards. Your unique ability to balance nuanced messaging and technical writing will be essential to the quality of Youth Entrepreneurs’ donor-facing content.

Your Responsibilities Include
Effectively collaborate and integrate with the Youth Entrepreneurs investor relations team and external partners, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging, promoting the organization’s mission/vision across key constituents
Strengthen collaboration efforts internally and externally in order to streamline communication efforts involving both organizations
Work in tandem with external partners and the YE investor and communication teams to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of our communication and stewardship strategies
Plan, develop and manage the design, content and production of all investor-related communications materials
Develop and maintain a strategic messaging framework based upon investor communication needs to efficiently communicate about YE efforts
Research and develop the best mechanisms to support investor communications in partnership with the YE investor relations team and Stand Together (email, social media, direct mail, etc.)
Support investor relations team by providing written communications to individual supporters as it relates to an existing gift or the pursuit of a new opportunity
Manage meetings and special events as it relates to the marketing and communications function of supporting the investor relations team (advise on messages/themes, using research, etc.)
Advise leadership of opportunities, issues and/or risks to investor relation and communication efforts and manage this effectively
Provide regular updates to YE staff (in an efficient manner) about new developments in the business development communication efforts
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
Strong communications credentials and 5+ years of work experience
Professional in manner and demeanor
Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
