C.H. Robinson Manager Supply Chain Services in Wichita, Kansas
C.H. Robinson is hiring a Manager of Supply Chain Services to lead the development and support of Purchase Order Management and Inventory Management solutions in collaboration with account management teams. This role focuses on solution design, implementation, continuous improvement, and technology for an assigned customer portfolio.
You will gather process insights with commercial teams during the sales process, working with leadership and experts across the organization and customers to address strategic business challenges in supply chain management. Additionally, you’ll support Purchase Order and Inventory Management account managers with implementation, planning, technology development, reporting, and process execution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Facilitate supply chain process discussions with clients during the sales, solution design, implementation, and account management sales gates to understand client needs and identify opportunities for change
Leverage the analytical data created through PO Management and Inventory Management to deliver value and savings to our clients and grow our market share
Engage with client supply chain teams to create value through Purchase Order and Inventory Management solutions
Assist in executing and refining future-state solutions within C.H. Robinson, including creating routines and processes to improve Key Performance Indicators
Collaborate with clients to identify and create reporting around Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement
Identify risks that could impact implementation and ensure accurate solution design
Assess client technology and integration capabilities to determine accurate pricing and integration options
Maintain a strong understanding of business processes and user experience
Contribute to annual and strategic planning sessions
Participate and provide guidance in technology and reporting sprint reviews to track progress and impact on timelines
Take a consultative approach to building relationships with clients, sales teams, and the C.H. Robinson office network
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of supply chain management or consultative selling experience
Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teams, either directly or indirectly
Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically and internationally)
Preferred:
Experience leading and facilitating meetings
Business-facing skills (listening, ability to playback and validate concepts and develop proposals)
Ability to influence and effectively work with others throughout the organization
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-strong skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Knack for anticipating both technical and functional impacts and requirements
Has a solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, and the market
Competencies as a change agent with a strong ability to influence without direct authority
Strong interpersonal, communication skills to effectively communicate initiatives and drive key business initiatives through the leadership team and cross-functional teams
Ability to create and deliver complex presentations
The ability to adapt, learn, and become proficient in multiple systems and detailed processes
Experience engaging with customers
In depth analytical skills and experience

Compensation Range
$75,900.00 - $168,500.00
