Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS (On-site)
Working Hours: M-F, 5am - 1:30pm, with some weekends
Key Accountabilities:
Supports and directs various job families to expedite the fabrication of details and assemblies
Applies process management and improvement techniques
Uses problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and expedient solutions to fabrication problems
Facilitates work teams, provides training, and interfaces with internal organizations and external customers about project planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
Development of metrics used to monitor factory progress
Coordinate interactions with customers, external representatives, and key personnel
Participate in cross-functional teams, programs, divisions, and various groups to integrate business objectives, strategies, and plans.
Troubleshoots process breakdowns and develops root cause analysis
Qualifications
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED with 0+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, hard and soft Chemical Finishing/Processing, Assembly, Machining, Supply Chain
Strong Excel skills with experience creating a VLOOKUP
Experience interfacing with all levels of stakeholders including leadership
Experience utilizing production metrics to make informed decisions and drive results
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.)
SAP Experience and/or other other production system softwares
Understanding of a manufacturing production atmosphere
