POSITION SUMMARY

Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communications programs aimed at building Envisions brand and increasing mission awareness across various channels and media outlets. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and media to support communications, marketing, and digital campaigns that align with Envisions mission, vision, and goals, leveraging platforms such as social media and other platforms. The Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of Envisions local marketing and communications strategy while contributing to national initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

Develop and manage marketing campaigns: Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing and communication campaigns, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.

Implement digital strategies: Execute digital media initiatives and collaborate with content teams, designers, and developers to ensure digital platforms align with brand strategy and meet organizational standards.

Support public relations and media presence: Oversee the execution of PR activities, including writing and distributing press releases, coordinating media inquiries, assisting with pitch preparation, and guiding efforts to expand media relationships in Wichita and Dallas.

Lead internal and external communications: Develop and execute strategies for organizational updates, events, and notifications. Identify and create compelling content for communications, collaborating with design teams to meet deadline

Manage content creation: Oversee the production of publications, video content, and other marketing materials to support branding and mission awareness.

Research and innovate: Identify and implement creative marketing solutions to improve brand visibility and engagement.

Support third-party collaborations: Manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and other partners, ensuring their initiatives align with approved plans and organizational goals.

Foster partnerships: Strengthen relationships with sister organizations, NIB, and other stakeholders to align communication and marketing initiatives.

Oversee events and programs: Provide oversight and support for organizational events, programs, and activities to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required. Masters degree is a plus.

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications or public relations with a track record of managing campaigns, digital platforms and teams. Non-profit experience is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills:

In-depth understanding of marketing principles, branding, and communication strategies across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.

Demonstrated experience in digital platforms such as management systems (CMS), email marketing tools, social media management platforms, and analytics tools.

Knowledge of media relations practices, including writing press releases, managing media inquiries, and building relationships with media outlets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to:

Prepare presentations and speak effectively in a variety of venues

Wo k independently, conceptualizing and executing projects

Manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

Plan and coordinate events

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive or confidential communications or public relations issues.
