Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
A typical day in the position would involve cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, computer systems, and maintaining efficiency. Safety is the top priority at all times.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Perform cycle counts accurately
Handle materials and ensure proper storage
Enter data into computer systems
Operate saws and other equipment as required
Utilize RF scanners for inventory control
Pick and pack materials for shipping
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Ensure adherence to safety protocols
Essential Skills
Experience in forklift operation
Proficiency in material handling
Basic computer knowledge and math skills (utilizing a ruler)
Experience with cycle counting
RF Scan knowledge
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with inventory control and shipping/receiving
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1+ years of warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related facility

Work Environment
The work environment is a production facility with high expectations for production numbers and efficiency. The facility employs 150-160 full-time employees. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the company. The shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 6am-2pm, 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm, 3rd shift: 10pm-6am. Employees are required to work 7 days a week for at least the next 3 months, with one Sunday off every 21 working shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Park City, Kansas
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
