Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting the processing and shipment of goods and services through proper picking, storage, stocking, and restocking of materials and supplies. This role involves performing duties error-free, completing necessary paperwork, and managing computer data entries associated with production processes. Key tasks include efficient material handling, conducting cycle counts, preparing and packing items for shipment, loading and unloading delivery trucks, measuring and verifying material specifications, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Hard Skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to measure using different tools

  • Forklift operation

  • Over-head crane operation

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.

Work Environment

The work environment requires frequent visual and auditory attention, continuous use of a computer, and involves exposure to hazardous machinery, sharp tools, proximity to moving objects, and varying conditions of noise, heat, and humidity. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, handling materials up to 50 pounds, and operating machinery safely.
