Provision of quality customer service to internal and external programs and agencies with respect to medical record functions of document imaging, filing, maintenance and tracking of patient records and supporting the function of completing requests for medical record information pursuant to state and federal guidelines/criteria or disclosure. Will also provide a key role in relationship building with all COMCARE programs, participation in development and compliance with medical records guidelines related to work flow and timelines for task completion, as well as problem-solving issues related to medical record functions.

- Prompt response to consumers, external entities and co-workers.

- Promotes collaboration in getting work done.
Maintenance and tracking of charts and filing.
- Accurately sort daily filing.
- Accurately track charts by checking them in and out.
- Accurately track terminated charts.
- Order needed charts from storage in a timely manner.
- Prepare terminated charts for storage.
- Timely, accurate filing of documents.
- Timely, accurate competition of Q and A logs.
- Track and communicate client deaths upon review of obituaries on a daily basis.
Document Imaging.
- Process scanning of chart documents.
- Index correctly.
- Complete Q and A checks as defined by unit guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Kansas Drivers license and current proof of automobile insurance. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and meet driver qualification standards as set forth in Sedgwick Countys Fleet Vehicle Operation and Usage policy. Meet the specifications as outlined in the CMHC/CCBHC licensing standards and pass KBI, DCF child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screens. Must complete orientations provided by Sedgwick County and COMCARE.
