Responsible for guiding the implementation of technology platforms and devices needed to support enterprise mobility solutions and initiatives. Implements, manages, administers, and supports solutions for mobile device management and mobile devices in a regulated environment to ensure continuous availability.
Examples of Work Performed:
Ensures consistency, compatibility, and compliance are addressed in policies, technical, and end-user documentation in support of mobility operations and related applications.Experience with configuring, managing and supporting mobile devices and Mobile Device Management (MDM) skills for user configuration, profiles and app control.Installs upgrades and patches.Performs system backups and recovery.Monitors system configuration and maintains data files.Recommends upgrades, new applications, and equipment.Provides technical support and guidance to users.Relies on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.Performs a variety of complicated tasks.Significant ingenuity and flexibility is expected.
Requirements of Work:
Thorough knowledge of LAN/WAN data and voice transmission methods and meansConsiderable knowledge of large scale network hardware, software, LAN/WAN technologies, virtualization and wireless data communicationsAbility to gather proper data for analysis for problem resolutionAbility to analyze documents, files and reports related to work flowAbility to quickly and effectively communicate with vendors and non-technical staffAbility to identify and incorporate technology that provides value towards attaining organizational goalsThorough knowledge of project management to plan, evaluate and implement projects across departmental linesAbility to develop return on investment calculations for technology investmentsAbility to effectively plan, organize and supervise the work of othersAbility to provide lower level staff or subordinates with effective training and growth opportunitiesAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writingMay require ability to acquire and maintain a valid Kansas driver's licenseAn employee shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Required Experience and Training:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and at least 4-6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in this field. Relevant professional certifications in area of specialty may also be required
