Position Specific Responsibilities
TheNIARAutomation Research Center (ARC) is a trailblazer in the realm of robotics and industrial automation, dedicated to crafting innovative solutions that redefine efficiency, productivity, and precision. We are seeking a dynamic Automation Technician to join our accomplished team and contribute to the creation and optimization of cutting-edge control systems that power our advanced robotic and industrial equipment.
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for using engineering techniques to assist team in the design, build, and installation of automation projects.
Essential Functions
- Performs controls wiring of equipment.
- Makes technical diagrams and/or schematics.
- Assists team in design and build of projects.
- Assists with mentoring and providing guidance to student team members.
- Assists with equipment specifications, quotes, and procurement.

Requirements
Minimum Education
Six (6) months of related experience with basic knowledge of programming andCAD
Preferred Education
Minimum Experience
High school diploma or equivalent by date of hire
