Position Specific Responsibilities
TheNIARAutomation Research Center (ARC) is seeking a highly skilled program manager with exceptional communication skills to provide regular updates to clients, directors, and fellow staff members. The candidate should feel comfortable ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Project managers must be comfortable managing moderately complex to highly complex research projects with significant programmatic risk.\ The ideal candidate for the project manager position will have experience in communicating and planning all aspects of programs, including budgets, resource allocations, timelines, and team dynamics. Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to utilize metrics to foresee and mitigate potential issues.
Responsibilities of this role include guiding and overseeing laboratory research projects, ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of initiatives while managing program requirements and coordinating with various stakeholders. This role is also responsible for on time completion of major milestones and deadlines of projects. Summary of Responsibilities
Manages assigned project(s) to meet department objectives.
Essential Functions
Develops project plans, creates schedules and ensures task deliverables meet expectations. Collaborates with project contributors to assess and ensure successful project outcomes.\ Defines and ensures resources are assigned to meet project goals.\ Monitors project and communicates quality and progress metrics to department and/or staff(s).\ Recommends project budget and monitors and adjusts plan as resource requirements change.\ Addresses and resolves project issues to ensure goals remain on track.
