Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, copying and filing clinical documentation, securing signed orders and documents, faxing and transmitting documents to the centralized billing.ESSENTIAL DUTIESAdheres to the policies, operating procedures, the Mission and Core Values of Omega Senior Living.Secures the necessary physician signatures and clinical staff signatures for clinical documentation.Responsible for accurately maintaining clinical medical records. Ensures clinical documentation is copied and filed correctly.Ensures all necessary documents are sent and received in the centralized billing office. Manages the sending of documents through shipping vendors.Orders necessary clinical forms as directed by the management staff. Orders clinical and office supplies as directed by the management staff.Conducts or assists with special projects as requested by the Administrator and other Omega Senior Living managers.Maintains positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, residents, family members and community personnel.Adheres to communication and accountability guidelines established by local and regional administration.Maintains a safe and clean work area and adheres to facility/corporate safety standards.Complies with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.Assists with and participates in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program as required.Adheres to established confidentiality standards as required by Omega Senior Living and HIPAA concerning community and resident information.Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in services and web based trainings.This is an overview of the Job Description and not a comprehensive list of responsibilities. An associate shall perform all duties as assigned.EDUCATIONMust possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent. Must have a Nursing Licences EXPERIENCE Prefer minimum of one year of experience in an office setting. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work varying hours, including weekends, nights and holidays . SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
