Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc.delivers confidence through our products and our people. We are seeking a results-orientedOutside Salespersonto join ourBuilding Materialsteam. This role is responsible for managing existing accounts while working to develop new business across a range of construction projects. This role works closely with the inside sales team, working as a liaison between customers, sub-contractors and sales staff. This self-starter will possess excellent communication and organization skills and the drive to achieve goals.
A Typical Day:
Call on existing accounts to maintain relationships, sell and respond to customer needs.
Continuous prospecting and developing new business accounts.
Visit with contractors onsite to verify materials and provide assistance as needed.
Review customer plans and complete material takeoffs.
Execution of detailed monthly sales and gross profit goals.
Maintain a high level of customer service through organization of tasks and responsibilities.
Active participation in various new home builder and remodeling organizations.
Build effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain the status of projects through the building process.
