Description
Robert Half is seeking out candidates in with outstanding customer service skills for a Patient Registrar position with one of its Fortune 500 healthcare clients, located in Wichita, KS.
The Patient Registrar will:
Enter patient information into the healthcare system or electronic health records (EHR).
Ensure all necessary forms and documents are completed and signed.
Check patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
Obtain pre-authorizations or referrals if required by insurance plans.
Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
Manage the appointment calendar and coordinate with healthcare providers.
Collect copayments, deductibles, and other fees from patients.
Provide receipts and record payments accurately in the system.
Requirements
In addition to the above-stated duties, the Patient Registrar must hold the following skills:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare.
