Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Wichita, Kansas
Description
Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of patient satisfaction accuracy quality and attendance
Meet department standards to adherence metric
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service including quality care and concern with every internal and external customer
Multi-task utilizing double monitors for data entry phone etiquette and use of resources while maintaining proper guidelines
Provides services to internal and external customers involving the exchange of complex and sensitive information while acting as a patient advocate
Assists other Patient Support Center Representatives and Supervisors with daily paperwork load as needed to resolve and / or document patient issues
Recognizes financial medical and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and follows appropriate procedures
Utilizes systems to resolve customer needs such as appointments authorizations claims invoices eligibility benefits appeals TARs
Translates oral information into concise and accurate written documentation per guidelines
Assists new or potential members in the choice of PCP and supplies general information about medical group
Pages clinicians and assists Telehealth Nurses as necessary e.g. arranging DME transportation and HH
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED Required
· Experience working in a medical setting
· 2+ years of Call Center experience required
· 2+ years of Healthcare experience required
· Excellent customer service
· Understanding of medical terminology
· Comfortable working independently
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
· Needs to complete basic computer and typing assessment
Additional Position Details:
Contract type: Contract to HIRE!
Contract Duration (estimated & subject to change/extend): 5 months
Location: REMOTE, must be located in PST, MST, or CST time zone!
Training Schedule: First 4 weeks Monday- Friday 8:00 - 4:30 PST (10:00 AM-6:30 PM CST)
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | After Training your schedule may change, you need open availability from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST/ 9:00 AM -8:00pm CST
